Kasargod: Man held for growing marijuana on terrace

Kasargod: Police officials have arrested a man for secretly growing ganja on his terrace in Kumble.

The accused arrested has been identified as Nazeeb Mehfooz (22), a resident of Bekur Kannadipare.  It is learned that the man planted the saplings for his own consumption and to sell to customers as well.

The police who raided his house upon specific information found several pots with marijuana plants about four feet in height. He allegedly used 20-liter drinking water cans to grow them.

Further investigations are underway.
