Bengaluru: Actor and television host Kiccha Sudeep has lost his mother, Saroja Sanjeev. She passed away on Sunday (October 20) at a private hospital in Bengaluru after battling health issues.

Saroja Sanjeev breathed her last around 7 AM at Apollo Hospital, Jayanagar. She had been suffering from age-related health complications for some time. Despite receiving treatment, she could not recover and passed away early in the morning.
Sudeep has often spoken about his mother at public events. Recently, during an episode of Bigg Boss Kannada, he fondly remembered her.
The actor’s family is currently in mourning.
Saroja’s mortal remains will be brought to Sudeep’s residence in JP Nagar at noon today, where arrangements have been made for the public to pay their last respects.

Saroja hailed from Mangaluru. During the promotion of Vikrant Rona, Sudeep had mentioned that his mother was a native of Mangaluru, and her mother tongue was Tulu. He had expressed his fondness for the language, saying that while he understood it well, he couldn’t speak it fluently.
