The Nandini Goodlife Bread by KMF will be introduced across Bengaluru on pilot basis for a month. Currently four varieties of bread will be introduced namely, milk bread, sandwich bread, whole wheat bread and multigrain bread in a price range of Rs.20 to Rs.30.
This move comes after learning a management lesson during the lockdown against Covid-19 as the private bakers relied on Nandini milk booths run by KMF to sell breads.
Balchandra L Jarakiholi, chairperson of KMF informed that they aim to sell around 2.5lakh pounds of bread during the pilot and that around 5000 pounds of bread have already been released to market.

B C Sateesh, CEO and Managing Director of KMF stated that the actual strength of the KMF bread is pure Nandini milk, ghee and butter.
The shelf life of Nandini Goodlife Bread is 4 to 5 days. The materials including flour, dry fruits are sourced from APMC and Hopcoms.
KMF plans to roll out premium chocolates by March-April coinciding with Ugadi festival. They plan to manufacture 27 varieties of premium chocolates, using the skimmed milk powder and cocoa butter sourced from farmers.
