K'taka by-polls: BJP selects Muniratna for RR Nagar, Rajesh Gowda for Sira

Bengaluru: BJP, on October 13, finalized its candidates for the Rajarajeshwari Nagar and Shira assembly constituencies by-election.

Muniratna will contest from Rajarajeshwari Nagar and son of former Member of Parliament CP Moodalagiriappa’s son Dr Rajesh Gowda will contest from Sira.

BJP announced the names of its candidates for two constituencies after the Supreme Court dismissed Tulsi Muniraj Gowda’s petition against Muniratna alleging illegal victory in previous elections.

The by-elections for Rajarajeshwari Nagar and Shira constituencies will be held on November 3.
