On the same day, 7,803 people were discharged from hospitals after recovering from the virus and 146 died due to the virus.
The total number of cases in the State has now risen to 4,12,190. Presently, 96,918 cases are active in the State out of which 784 cases are in Intensive Care Units.
Districts that reported high incidences of COVID-19 cases are Bengaluru Urban 3102, Ballari 404, Dakshina Kannada 374, Mysuru 337, Dharwad 318, Mandya 273, Koppala 269, Udupi 250, Davanagere 240, Belagavi 230, Hassana 219, Bagalakote 212, Raichuru 209, Kalaburagi 199, Haveri 165, Chikkamagaluru 162, Tumakuru 153 and Bengaluru Rural 104.
