K'taka COVID-19 update: 8856 new cases, 8890 discharges, 87 deaths on Sep 29

Bengaluru: On September 29, 8,856 new cases were reported from across the State long with 8,890 recoveries and 87 COVID-19 deaths.

The total number of cases reported in the State till date has increased to 6,01,767 out of which 1,07,616 cases are active and 8864 dead.

Districts that reported higher cases includes Bengaluru Urban 4,226, Mysuru 564, Hassana 446, Tumakuru 362, Shivamogga 248, Mandya 244 and Belagavi 243.
