K'taka Govt to relook at seat belt rule passed by Karnataka Police

Bengaluru: The order passed by the Karnataka Police on wearing seat belts mandatorily by all while travelling by car, is likely to be relooked by the Karnataka Government.

Earlier in the day, the Karnataka Police had passed an order penalizing those not wearing seat belts even in the backseat. It had imposed a penalty of Rs. 1000.

As the orders drew flak from the public, the government decided to relook at the orders.
