Kukke Subramanya temple re-opens for devotees

Sullia: The Kukke Subramanya temple in the taluk here reopened for devotees after almost five months since the lockdown began.

Strict precautionary measures have been set in place in the temple to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

As per officials of the temple administration, only 30 ritual services such as Sarpa Samskara, Naga Prathishte and Ashlesha Bali have are allowed each day.

Devotees enter the temple after a thermal scan and hand sanitization and only one person is allowed to enter the sanctum sanctorum of the temple at a time.

Only the devotees performing the Sarpa Samskara seva have been allowed to stay in the guesthouses for 2 days.
