Files disposed even after getting transferred
The raid was conducted on multiple complaints received from the public alleging that although Madhukeshwar was transferred, he nonetheless took a bribe from Rs 25,000 to Rs 1 lakh for the disposal of file relating land disputes, created the order and also illegally signed the file by registering it to the day before his transfer. Hence, the officials received the court’s permission on Wednesday and conducted the raid on Thursday. The officials arrived to Kundapur at 11 am in the morning, but since Dr| Madhukeshwar was not here, they waited for him elsewhere. In the afternoon around 2 pm, just as the accused was reaching the government residence, ACB conducted the raid.
