Kundapur: Newborn baby girl found abandoned in bushes; rescued by locals

Kundapur: A newborn female infant was found abandoned in bushes near the bridge at Muchattu on Wednesday, December 1.

A local resident noticed the infant lying in the bushes and immediately alerted the police officials.

Officials said that the baby is likely to be a few weeks old and that she might have been abandoned in dangerous surroundings on purpose.

A case has been registered and investigations are underway.
