A CCTV camera in Shastri Circle here recorded the doctor carrying a bag, which is yet untraceable.
The mutilated body of Dr. Krishnamurthy, who had gone missing from his clinic in Badiadka on November 8, was found on the railway tracks at Kadu Ajjimane in Hattiyangadi village under Kundapura rural police station limits on November 9. On November 10, his family identified the body.
It is gathered that Dr. Krishnamuthy had arrived in Kundapur by a KSRTC bus. He had walked to Shastri circle and inquired about the route to the railway station. A CCTV camera captured the doctor travelling by a private bus moving towards Siddapura. It is suspected that he may have gotten down on the way to reach the railway track near Hattiyangadi.
