Following a request by MP Poojary, the South Western Railway has announced special trains to assist passengers traveling to Bengaluru, Mangaluru, Udupi, Kundapura, and Karwar. These special trains will operate on October 10 and October 12.
Ganesh Puthran of the Kundapura Railway Protection Committee had drawn the MP’s attention to the fact that all bus and train tickets were fully booked, and bus ticket prices had also surged. Acting on this, MP Poojary immediately urged the railway department to run special Navaratri trains.
One train will depart from Mysuru via Majestic, while another will depart from Yeshwantpur. The MP announced this update on social media.

October 10: The special train (No. 06569) will depart from Yeshwantpur at 12:30 AM on Thursday night, reaching Udupi at 11:30 AM on Friday via the Padil Bypass, and arriving in Karwar by 4:00 PM.
October 11: The return train (No. 06570) will depart Karwar at 11:30 PM on Friday night, reaching Kundapura by 2:00 AM, Udupi by 2:40 AM, and Yeshwantpur by 1:00 PM the next day, before reaching Mysuru by 4:40 PM on Saturday.
October 12: The special train (No. 06585) will depart Mysuru at 9:20 PM on Saturday, departing Majestic at 12:20 AM and Yeshwantpur at 12:40 AM. It will reach Udupi by 11:30 AM on Sunday and Karwar by 4:00 PM.
October 13: The return train (No. 06586) will depart Karwar at 11:30 PM on Sunday night, reaching Udupi at 2:40 AM and Yeshwantpur by 1:00 PM on Monday, before arriving in Mysuru by 4:40 PM.
