Kavitha (34), in her police complaint, said that she heard a knock on her door on July 25, at around 8:30 AM. She ignored it. When she checked at 9:00 AM, no one was there.
Meanwhile, a representative from Sign In Security Company in Kundapur, who were monitoring the house’s CCTV, called Kavitha to inform her that 6-8 people had arrived in a Swift and an Innova car. They tried to force open the gate and break into the house. They damaged the gate but left when they could not get inside.

Security Agency’s Role
The staff from Sign In Security monitoring the live CCTV feed, saw the strangers arriving. The company tried contacting the family but they did not answer. The owner of the security firm Krishna, later called, and the family then knew what had happened. They suspected the group might be from IT or ED.
However, the strangers avoided the toll road and took a different route to escape, driving fast and trying to hide their car’s number plates.
A Close Call
Thanks to the live CCTV monitoring by Sign In Security, a potential disaster was avoided. The company has previously helped prevent over 27 criminal cases, including stopping a cow theft and a cooperative society theft.
