Landslide fears: Madikeri-Mangaluru highway closed for traffic

Aranthodu: The Madikeri-Mangaluru highway has been closed for all vehicular traffic from 9 pm on August 9.

Kodagu Deputy commissioner issued an order to this effect. The highway shall remain closed till 6:30 am on August 10, the order said.

As per the order, the decision was taken on the recommendation of Assistant Engineer of NHAI due to a high risk of a landslide at Madenadu area.
