Local BJP leader attacked in Kerala's Kannur

Kannur: A BJP local leader suffered injuries when he was attacked by a nine-member gang in the district, police said today.

BJP’s Kannur mandal vice-president Sushil Kumar (48) suffered stab wounds in the attack at Talap yesterday and has been hospitalised, police said.

The assailants came on three motorcycles.

Police said a case has been registered but no arrests have been made.
