According to officials, individuals transporting cash exceeding Rs 50,000 must provide relevant documentation detailing the source, purpose, and destination of the funds. Failure to comply with these regulations may result in confiscation of the assets and initiation of legal proceedings.
To avoid such complications, it is advised to carry necessary documents such as bank slips, ATM withdrawal slips, and event invitations, particularly for transactions related to marriages and commercial activities, they said.
To enforce these measures effectively, a network of 23 check posts has been established across the DK District, including nine inter-state, seven inter-district, and seven local check-posts.
