A letter to the government on load shedding

When visiting Lady Goshen Hospital, it was observed that beds were placed on the verandah and the all the wards were full and it was difficult to walk through the corridor. On this issue, Lokayukta enquired with the superintendent on why the hospital had not been shifted to a new hospital.

A new building has been created with the grant from M.R.P.L. But the equipments have not yet come. The medical officers and staff are yet to be appointed. Hence, the transfer is being delayed, informed the superintendent.

The Lokayukta questioned on how they will transfer without basic facilities and staff. It is not correct to not transfer the patients even after the creation of a new building. A letter will be written to the government in this regard, he informed.
