He addressed party workers at the swearing-in ceremony of new DK District BJP President Satish Kumpala at Adyar Garden on Tuesday. The focus was on the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, with Vijayendra expressing confidence in Narendra Modi’s re-election as Prime Minister.
Vijayendra suggested the creation of a “square feet minister” post, humorously alluding to alleged bribery for building approvals in Bengaluru.
Highlighting the current state government, Vijayendra criticized it as “anti-corrupt, anti-Dalit, and anti-poor.” He accused Siddaramaiah of focusing only on minorities and spending large sums on guarantees. Vijayendra also mentioned the Congress leaders’ keep complaints about being targeted by the central government during IT raids, even though “crores of rupees have been unearthed.”
