Of the three infected animals, one has died and two are being treated.
As per Dakshina Kannada Animal Husbandry Department, the veterinarians of KMF started treating the suspected potential lumpy skin disease cases on October 8. One cow died on October 11. However, death has not been attributed to lumpy skin disease.
Meanwhile, the department has already started precautionary measures to stop the spread of the viral infection.

He said that the department has given a report to the government about the dead cattle.
