It had sold 26,151 units in April last year, Mahindra and Mahindra said in a statement. Domestic sales were at 29,884 units as against 25,208 units in the year-ago month, up 19 per cent, it added. Exports last month stood at 1,041 units as against 943 units in the year-ago period, up 10 per cent, it said.
M&M President – Farm Equipment Sector, Rajesh Jejurikar said, “With the prediction of a normal monsoon we expect positive sentiments to continue and boost tractor demand in the coming months.”
