Malpe: One killed in scooter-truck collision

 

Udupi: A head-on collision between a scooter and a truck claimed the life of a man here on Saturday January 2 early morning.

The deceased identified as Isaac Hoode was headed towards Malpe when a truck coming from the opposite direction rammed into his scooter at Thottam under Malpe police station limits. The mishap took place at around 4:30 am.

Issac was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced brought dead.

A case is registered at Malpe police station
