Man accidentally shoots self

Belthangady: A man accidentally shot himself with his licensed gun at Neriya near here.

The deceased has been identified as James PJ (45).

It has been reported that, James was crossing a flooded lake at Neriya when he accidentally fired his double barrel gun. The bullet struck his chest, he died on spot.

James worked as a supervisor in an estate here. He used to carry the gun to handle wild animals at the estate.
