Man brutally attacked by GP member

Bantwal: A gram panchayat member has attacked a man brutally here at Salethur on Sunday, January 13. The injured victim is identified as Hameed (52), from Palthaje, a daily wage labourer.

Hameed was waiting for bus near Medu junction when Satthar (35), a member of Veerakamba gram panchayat attacked him. The injured Hameed was rushed to Vittal hospital.

Manjeshwar police have registered a case in this connection.
