Man brutally murdered in broad daylight

Shivamogga: A mason worker from here was brutally murdered in broad daylight on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Prabhu (43), a mason from Vidyanagar.

The accused is a youth from Vidyanagar, Ravi Kumar (20), he is now absconding the police said.

A police constable who was travelling along that route is said to have intervened and made an attempt to rescue the victim.
