Gadag: A man who was partially buried in a landslide at Nargund in Gadag was miraculously rescued by villagers on Sunday.
The identity of the rescued man is yet to be known.
Heavy rains since past few days had triggered landslides in several paerts of the district.
The death toll due has gone up to 13 following the devastation caused by incessant rain and floods in Karnataka from October 18 till today.
According to state government data, a total of 150 livestock have been killed and more than 10,000 houses have been damaged.
The heavy downpour in August this year in Karnataka led to floods in 22 districts, leading to the deaths of 84 people in rain-related incidents.
About 5.5 lakh acres of land were inundated, while crops in about 2.3 lakh acres were completely ruined.
About 1.5 lakh houses were destroyed in August’s flood and heavy rains.
