Mandya: Horse gram husks on road causes car to catch fire

Mandya: Horse gram husks on a road stuck to the wheels of a car causing it to catch fire at KR Pete taluk here.

Bengaluru-resident Rajagopal was visiting the Bhurvaraha Natha Swamy temple with his family in their car. He was about 2-3 kilometres away from the temple when the husks stuck to the car’s wheel.

While parking the car a small fire was noticed which within seconds spread to much of the car.

Rajagopal, his mother, wife, and daughter immediately moved out of the car.

Locals immediately informed the town fire station. A team of firefighters arrived later and extinguished the fire.
