Mangaluru: Baby sold for Rs 5 lakh in Karkala: Three arrested

Mangaluru: Police officials on Friday arrested a man on charges of selling a  5-month-old baby from Hassan for Rs 5 lakh in Karkala

The accused has been identified as Rayan (30), a resident of Mulki. He was arrested from a restaurant in Kadri. Two other accused Kavita and Mariyamma have also been arrested

It is said that Rayan sold the baby to Kavita for Rs 5 Lakh who then sold the baby to Mariyamma
