Mangaluru: DK DC flags off boat rally at Bunder

Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada DC K V Rajendra on Friday flagged off a boat rally at Bunder, Mangaluru to mark the celebration of 75 years of India’s Independence.

Around 75 fishing boats participated in the boat rally organized by the Fishermen’s Association in collaboration with the Fisheries Department.

 

Zilla Panchayat CEO Dr. Kumar, Joint Director of Fisheries Department Harish, Deputy Directors Sushmita, Revathi, Rekha, Coast Guard Officers, public representatives and boat owners were present.
