Mangaluru: Fire erupts opposite St. Lawrence Church in Bondel

A fire incident occurred opposite St. Lawrence Church in Bondel, On Saturday, March 9 stirring panic among locals before being swiftly contained by firefighters.

Initially perceived as a routine occurrence by nearby residents, the situation quickly escalated as smoke engulfed the area, prompting them to alert the fire department.

Responding promptly, firefighters rushed to the scene and effectively brought the flames under control. Thankfully, there were no reported casualties.

However, the intensity of the blaze resulted in significant damage to the pipes belonging to GAIL, laid along the road, which was entirely consumed by the fire.
