Mangaluru: Man attempts suicide by jumping into river; search operations underway

Mangaluru: In a bid to end his life, a man jumped into the Phalguni river on Thursday, October 27. Search operations are underway.

The man identified as Arun Kumar (35), a resident of Moodushedde allegedly jumped into the river from the Gurupur bridge.

The reason for the extreme step is yet to be known.

A case has been registered.
