Mangaluru: Man dies due to suspected dengue

Mangaluru: The number of people dying due to suspected dengue in Dakshina Kannada is rising and a person lost his life due to suspected dengue in Mangaluru on Monday. The deceased is identified as Sudhakar Acharya (53), a resident of Pandeshwar, who was employed at a private finance institution.

Mr Acharya was suffering from fever since a few days and was admitted at a private hospital. However, he failed to respond to the treatment and breathed his last on Oct 7^th. He is survived by his mother, wife, son and daughter.

The health department officials have informed that there is no information positively claiming that Mr Acharya’s death was due to dengue.
