Mangaluru: Police arrest absconding accused from Kerala

Bajpe police arrested an absconding accused from Kerala’s Hosadurga district.

The accused Mammunhi alias Mohammed Kunhi (53) had been arrested for trying to travel to Dubai in the year 2008 on a fake passport.

Kunhi had then gone absconding and remained absent from the court hearing for the past 10 years.

Police said that he had taken refuge in Kerala and was frequently changing his location to evade arrest.
