Mangaluru Police arrest history sheeter for conspiring to commit robbery, murder

Mangaluru: The police here arrested a history-sheeter, ‘Akash Bhavan’ Sharan, for conspiring to commit robbery and murder.

Sharan was till recently in a Bengaluru jail and was reportedly managing his criminal activities from the jail.

He had allegedly planned to kill his rivals in Mangaluru and set up his criminal businesses in the city again.

Earlier, the police had arrested nine people – Sharan’s associates – for planning robberies and murder.

One among the nine arrested is Sharan’s brother, who on instructions from his brother, was planning the operations in the city to restart their criminal syndicate.
