Mangaluru: Temporary route change at Kankanady

The local authorities in Mangaluru have made a temporary change to the route for motorists passing through Kankanady circle. This is aimed at reducing traffic congestion in the area. The change will affect the routes for motorists heading towards Pumpwell, Valencia, and Mangaladevi from Falnir side.

A press release said the temporary diversion requires riders of all kinds of vehicles going towards Pumpwell from Falnir side to turn left at Kankanady circle and turn right in Karavali circle before proceeding ahead.

Meanwhile, all kinds of motorists going from Falnir side towards Valencia will have to take a left turn at Kankanady circle and take a U-turn at Karavali circle before proceeding further.

Furthermore, motorists going towards Mangaladevi from Falnir side will have to pass through Sturrock Road, Nandigudda Road, using Koti Chennayya Circle to reach their destination.
