Mangaluru, Udupi: DK records 326 new cases and 1 death; 217 in Udupi

Mangaluru, Udupi: On September 5, 326 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded from the Dakshina Kannada district and one death due to the virus.

202 people recovered from the virus on the same day.

The district’s total cases tally now stands at 14,926, out of which 3,084 are active and the death toll from the virus is 401.

In Udupi district, 217 new cases were detected while 270 were discharged after recovery.

A total of 12,727 cases were recorded from the district out of which 1,852 cases are presently active.

The district’s death toll from the virus stands at 112.
