Man's dead body found near Bikarnakatta bus stand

Mangaluru: A dead body of an unidentified person was found near Bikarnakatta bus stand here on Friday, November 15 evening. People who noticed the body informed the Kadri police.

Upon investigating, the police found that the deceased identified as Claud D’Souza (65) was a resident of Neermarga.

The police suspect that he may have died due to head injuries sustained due to a fall. His body was sent to the government hospital for post-mortem.

“Clad had left home for Hampankatte on Friday morning. He was a habitual drinker,” police said.

Police registered a case of unnatural death in this regard.
