Mild tremor strikes Channapatna; no loss to lives, property reported

Ramanagara: A mild earthquake was reported at Doddanahalli in Channapatna on Saturday night; however, no loss to lives or property was reported.

Residents of about ten houses noticed cracks in walls after the quake.

It is said that people panicked and run out of houses after hearing a strange sound.
