The train’s maiden journey will be flagged off by MP Nalin Kumar Kateel at 11 am on February 21st.

The distance of 364 kms between Mangalruru to Bengaluru will be covered in 9.5 hours while the journey on the opposite direction will take about 11.5 hours. The delay in time for the train journey from Bengaluru towards the city is because of the safety measures taken along the Ghat section and due to the crossing by other trains.
