The SIT had requested a 15-day custody of Prajwal, but the court granted six days. Following his medical check-up, the SIT officers presented him before the court. Women Police Officer Suman D. Pennekar and SIT officers escorted Prajwal for the court proceedings. Prior to this, he was taken under tight security for a thorough medical examination at Bowring Hospital.

Due to the issuance of a Blue Corner and Lookout Notice against Prajwal, immigration authorities at the airport flagged his entry as soon as he boarded the flight. The Bureau of Immigration and SIT investigators were immediately informed. Upon landing, airport authorities conducted a detailed inspection of Prajwal’s passport, ticket, and visa before handing him over to the airport police. Subsequently, he was transferred to the SIT for further procedures.
