Musician Marpalli Kalu Sherigar succumbs to COVID-19

Udupi: Veteran musician from Kukkikatte here, Marpalli Kalu Sherigar (104), passed away on Monday due to the COVID-19 infection.

Centenarian Sherigar had tested positive for COVID-19 recently and died without successfully responding to treatment.

He is survived by two sons and three daughters.
