Netravati bridge barrier work stopped after short circuit fire

Ullal: The construction of the barrier on the Netravati River bridge has been disrupted due to a fire caused by a short circuit in the welding machine on the bridge. The barrier on the bridge is being constructed to prevent the regular suicides occurring on the bridge. The construction work has been going on for the past few days. Kankanady police arrived at the spot and efforts are made to douse the fire.
