No Green Signal to Prajwal to Contest in Next State Assembly Elections: HDK

Shivamogga: Karnataka state JD (S) President HD Kumaraswamy (HDK) has clarified that his family member Prajwal Revanna won’t contest in the next state assembly elections scheduled for early next year. Putting an end to the speculations on the candidature of Prajwal, HDK said Prajwal is not the third contestant from the family of JD(S) national president HD Deve Gowda.

Speaking here in Shivamogga on Thursday, HDK added, JDS national president hasn’t given green signal to his grandson Prajwal to contest in the state assembly elections instead he (HDK) and his elder brother HD Revanna are the only contestants for the assembly elections scheduled for 2018, added HDK.

Speaking on the speculation on the entry of Prajwal Revanna into politics and his candidature, HD Deve Gowda already clarified that he didn’t give any signal to Prajwal. However, he has bright future in politics and contest in elections in the future once he gets maturity.
