It was noted that only a few schools that fall under RUPSA called off the online classes. Parents have expressed their outrage as to the limited number of online classes being conducted and that the exams are nearing when RUPSA decided to call off online classes.
Parents requested that online classes be conducted in the interest of the students.
RUPSA has put forth around 15 demands, some being relaxation of private renewal, one year extension of bank loan EMI, Private unaided schools must be granted aids, etc. . Adhering to this they had called off online classes from December 21. Failing to fulfil the demands before January 6, RUPSA has issued a protest warning.

On the other hand, various private school management associations such as KUPSA, KAMS and CBSE schools haven’t extended their support to RUPSA and are continuing online classes.
General Secretary of Associated Management of Primary and Secondary Schools in Karnataka, D Shashikumar said, that none of the member schools shall stop online classes and that they are ready to reopen schools as per the government guidelines.
