Not happy with flood relief work carried out by state government: HDK

Bengaluru: Former chief minister and JDS leader HD Kumaraswamy on Monday expressed that is not satisfied with the relief works being carried out by Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa led state government in the flood-affected areas.

Addressing presspersons he said, “I am not happy by the relief works carried out by the state government in the flood-affected areas. As far as the measures are concerned, the government’s efforts are not up to the mark. I need a change in their strategy as far as relief works are concerned.”

He further added, “I am ready to support any party if they work for the people. Whoever may be the Chief Minister or whoever takes over the administration, they should work for the interest of people. I suggest the parties to work as per my suggestions. There is no shortage of money to carry out relief works.”

Earlier today Kumarswamy had twitted, “Every day hundreds of farmers come to my house to get information on their farming. Most of them come from far away place, therefore, I have started a helpline so that the farmers instead of coming home can give a call to this 9164305868 from 10 am to 5 pm and get any information they want.
