Pak denies second consular access to Kulbhushan Jadhav

Islamabad: Pakistan on Thursday denied India second consular access to Kulbhushan Jadhav, the retired Indian Navy officer who has been sentenced to death by a Pakistani military court.

The statement was released by Dr Mohammad Faisal, a spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pakistan.

The first consular access to Jadhav was granted on September 2, in accordance with the “Vienna Convention and the International Court of Justice (ICJ) verdict” after much negotiation between India and Pakistan over terms and conditions for consular access.
