The grand procession commenced from the Kinnimulki Swagatha Gopura, where Sri Sugunendratheertha Sripada, along with Sri Sushrindratheertha Sripada, joined the deity of Srimatha. Devotees along the procession route enthusiastically welcomed Lord Krishna and the Sripada.
Big screens were set up for devotees to enjoy cultural programs across Udupi during the procession. Millions of devotees had the opportunity to witness the live event.
The festive religious celebrations at Sri Krishna Matha began on Wednesday morning. The staff of Sri Krishnapura Matha completing two years of Paryaya puja were seen vacating Sri Krishna Matha, shifting the belongings to the Moola Matha, while the staff of Sri Puthige Matha were busy bringing the necessary assets from Puttige Math to Sri Krishna Matha.

On this occasion, Sri Puthige Matha was adorned with traditional decorations of flowers, tender coconuts, and betel nuts. The addition of electric lights added to the festive ambiance. Wednesday night saw thousands of people receiving Anna Prasada during the Paryayotsava.
Rathotsava took place on Wednesday evening in the presence of Sri Krishnapura Mathadhisha Sri Vidyasagaratheetha Sripada at Rathbeedi. Sripada then imparted “Anugraha Mantrakshat” to the devotees from the Sarvajna Peetha.
