Addressing reporters at Raichur on Sunday, October 21 Khader said, “BJP leaders have remained mute spectators to the intense protests staged by devotees at Sabarimala. If the central government fails to take a stand on the verdict of the apex court the conflict won’t come to an end.”

Pointing out that the Parliament has passed an ordinance on issues of Jallikattu and Kambala in the recent past, despite Supreme Court orders against them, Khader questioned why an ordinance cant be passed in the case of Sabarimala.
