People can't be bought by money: Revanna mocks BJP over Hunsur defeat

Bengaluru: Despite a huge setback in the state bypolls, JD(S) leader H D Revanna on Wednesday said that the party will emerge stronger in the coming days.

Speaking to the reporters in Hassan, Revanna said that JDS continues to remain a strong regional party and we will work towards strengthening the party from the base.

The former PWD minister accused the BJP of misleading people with false assurances and using money power to win 12 out of the 15 assembly seats in the just concluded elections.

Mocking BJP’s loss in Hunsur constituency, Revanna said that people can’t be bought by money everywhere.
