As per sources, 9 police officers in the district were tested positive for COVID-19 and the other officers who came in contact with police were on home quarantine immediately. However, the people in the district use to run away from police and the officers’ friends use to stay away as well.
Speaking about this, Jagadeesh said, “9 officers had tested positive and the whole district was worried about this. all the 9 officers have been recovered and discharged. I thank the police, officers, health officials, and corona warriors for your support.”
“Just because, the police are working frontline in the COVID-19 outbreak, people should not be scared of them and treat them as untouchables. People should respect our COVID-19 warriors, police who are working on this fight,” he further added.
