Poultry truck topples at Perne

Mangaluru: An Eicher truck transporting chickens overturned at Perne on Mangaluru-Bengaluru national highway here on Friday, January 17.

The truck was headed towards Mangaluru from Uppinangdy when the truck driver lost control of the vehicle causing it to topple. As many as 200 chickens were killed in the mishap.

Another vehicle was later used to transport the remaining chicken.
